Candyland 2004-2006

The design of everyday objects sometimes deserves our attention as the Pop artists’ demonstrated. Candy caught my attention due to form and colour and sometimes ingenious design. I have tried to combine their appetizing look and associate to the great Pop artists. The clear colours and forms give the viewer a positive feel and a recollection of childhood. The technique is oil on linen canvas with same size custom built frames. The objects are varnished. Have a candy, or several!
